Padre Terminal FAQ
The questions we get most often from people new to trading on Padre, answered briefly. Each one links to a deeper article if you want more.
What is Padre Terminal?
Padre Terminal (official URL: trade.padre.gg) is a browser-based on-chain trading terminal built for memecoins. It combines token discovery, charts, one-click orders, limit orders, wallet tracking and copy trading in a single screen, and supports Solana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain.
Are Padre and "Terminal" the same thing?
Yes. In October 2025 Padre was acquired by Pump.fun and rebranded as "Terminal". The URL trade.padre.gg, your wallets and the core features did not change. Many traders still call it Padre, Padre trade or trade Padre gg.
What are the trading fees on Padre Terminal?
Padre charges a platform fee on every swap. In our own trades it has ranged from roughly 0.8% to 1% depending on chain and timing, plus network fees and priority fees. The exact amount is always shown in the app before you confirm an order.
How does the 35% cashback on Padre work?
Every account gets 10% of platform fees back by default. If you sign up through a referral link, the rebate can go up to 35% depending on the referrer tier. Cashback accrues in the Rewards tab after each trade and can be claimed to your wallet at any time.
Is Padre Terminal safe? Does it hold my private keys?
Padre is non-custodial: your private key is generated and encrypted in your browser with a password only you know (Padre calls this its 2FA layer; it cannot be reset). It is still a hot wallet, so only deposit what you actively trade with and export your private key to offline storage.
Does Padre require KYC?
No. You only create or connect a wallet; there is no identity verification. In return you are fully responsible for your keys and funds.
Is there a Padre Terminal mobile app?
Padre runs as a mobile-optimized web app (PWA). Open trade.padre.gg in Safari or Chrome and choose "Add to Home Screen" to use it like a native app. Be wary of any APK or IPA file claiming to be "Padre".
How do I know which Padre site is official?
The official trading URL is trade.padre.gg, the docs are at docs.padre.gg and the official X account is @TradingTerminal. padreterminal.pro is an independent guide, not an official site, and will never ask for your seed phrase.
How do I log in to Padre Terminal?
Go to trade.padre.gg and sign in with Google, X (Twitter) or Telegram. There is no email-and-password form. Always use the same provider, because each one maps to a separate account and set of wallets.
Does Padre Terminal have an API?
No. As of 2026 there is no public Padre Terminal API, API keys or SDK. Automation is limited to in-app features such as presets, limit and stop orders, saved Trenches filters and copy trading. Sites advertising "Padre API documentation" are not official.
How do I withdraw from Padre gg?
Open Wallets, pick the chain and wallet, click Withdraw, paste or select a saved withdrawal wallet, confirm with your encryption password. The minimum is 0.01 SOL and you need SOL for gas even to withdraw USDC. If the app flow fails, export the private key and import it into Phantom or MetaMask.
Is there a Padre Terminal app for iPhone or Android?
Not in the app stores. Padre runs as a Progressive Web App: open trade.padre.gg in Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android) and choose Add to Home Screen. Any APK or IPA claiming to be the Padre app is fake.
