Padre Terminal App: How to Install It on iPhone, Android and Desktop
There is no Padre Terminal app in the App Store or Google Play. The Padre trading app is a Progressive Web App (PWA): you install it from trade.padre.gg in two taps and it runs like a native app with the full desktop feature set. Here is how, plus what to do if someone sends you an "official" APK.
No store listing exists. Any "Padre Terminal app" APK, IPA or TestFlight link shared on Telegram, X or Discord is not from Padre. Installing it can drain your wallets. The only legitimate mobile app is the PWA installed from trade.padre.gg.
What the Padre mobile app actually is
Padre (now Terminal) ships as a Progressive Web App. It runs in your phone's browser engine but installs to the home screen, opens full-screen without browser chrome, and keeps you logged in. In our daily use the PWA has the same Discover/Trenches columns, order panel, presets, wallet tracker and Rewards tab as the desktop version. Trades still execute from the same non-custodial wallet.
Install the Padre Terminal app on iPhone / iPad
- Open Safari (not Chrome; iOS only allows PWA install from Safari) and go to
trade.padre.gg. - Log in with Google, X or Telegram.
- Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open "Terminal" from your home screen. It launches full-screen.
Install the Padre trading app on Android
- Open Chrome and go to
trade.padre.gg. - Log in.
- Tap the three-dot menu (top right) and choose Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Confirm Install. The icon appears in your app drawer and home screen.
Desktop "app" on Windows and macOS
Chrome, Edge and Brave can install the same PWA as a desktop window: open trade.padre.gg, click the install icon in the address bar (or menu → Install Terminal). You get a separate window, a taskbar/dock icon and no tabs to lose. We prefer this over a browser tab for trading sessions because notification sounds from Trenches filters are more reliable.

Tips for trading Padre on mobile
- Set up Trenches filters and presets on desktop first; they sync to your account.
- Use quick-buy presets (0.1 / 0.25 / 0.5 SOL) so a trade is two taps, and set take-profit/stop-loss immediately after.
- Turn off battery saver while trading; aggressive power saving can suspend the PWA and you miss alerts.
- Never store your exported private key or seed phrase on the same phone in a notes app.
Troubleshooting
